Water Fountain Fundraiser

Thanks to founding member and new head squash professional (in January) John de Vries, we are collecting funds to raise money for a retrofit water bottle filler by the doubles court. John has sourced it here, and another of our members (Mark Beaton) has generously offered to provide labor to install it. Please see the message from John below

I would like to initiate an opportunity for the membership to add a  drinking water filter system for the fountain behind the doubles court.  We will be able add to the existing fountain which will help us keep the cost down. 

What I am asking of all members is to make a contribution through the front desk.  Anne added a line item in Jegysoft so you can contribute via your member account. This will also allow us to track donations,  once we receive the required amount ($1100) I will purchase and have the system installed. 

I have provided $100.00 to get the water flowing (pardon the pun), I would love to see this happen before ESL starts. 

Installing the filter system will alleviate traffic at the front counter so our staff will not be interrupted from their regular work.  

On a side note, we should really be using refillable water containers, to save the environment from 1 use plastic cups. Hopefully this will help us get to that point.
