Although there is still a long way to go before our new court booking system is working smoothly, here’s a rundown of some general booking rules:
When booking a singles court, you have an option to:
- Leave the 2nd slot open for members to join
- Book the court as solo practice by choosing the Solo Practice profile as the second player in non-prime time
- Booking the court with another member
Booking the court and leaving the 2nd slot open for others to join is useful if you know a particular time and day that you want to play, but don’t yet have an opponent. The day prior to the actual booking day though, the front desk staff will go through and remove all these open bookings that are not yet filled by a second player in prime-time.
Booking the court with a solo practice as the second profile is permitted for non-prime time hours, and all solo bookings done in prime-time will be changed to open by the front desk staff, and then removed the day prior to the actual booking if not filled by a second member.
Booking the court with another member is always permitted, and these bookings can be cancelled online by members up to 4 hours prior to the booking. Within that window of time, please contact the front desk by email to cancel bookings.
Just as a reminder, Prime-time is defined as:
Monday-Friday from 4:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM
