We are incredibly pleased to announce that our Edmonton Squash Club will be hosting the 2019 Canadian Nation Women’s Team Championships this February 15-17. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase our club at the national level, and we encourage all our members to be ambassadors to our guests of our province, city and club.
This is a high-quality field including PSA level players such as Holly Naughton, Samantha Cornett, Nicki Todd and Daniel Letourneau and will have the best of Canadian Women’s squash on offer. The top 3 women in each province will participate in a round robin and playoffs to determine which province/territory will reign supreme in women’s squash.
The 2018 championships, held in Windsor, crowned Ontario as the champions and Alberta as the runner-up. Video of the two teams squaring off can be seen below.
As you might imagine, running this event will require a lot of volunteer help, and we are calling on our members and the Edmonton Squash community to help make this high profile event a success. We are looking for volunteers for the following positions:
- Shuttle drivers
