The 2017-2018 squash season has officially started! Sixty players descended on the Edmonton Squash Club last weekend to play in the first tournament of the year and work the summer cobwebs out of their swing.
Congratulations to our Men’s Open winner Pete Goodings from the Royal Glenora who beat ESC pro Ibrahim Elserafy in four hard-fought games in a rematch of the final from last year. Top junior Molli Hay won the Women’s Open division for a good start to what we hope is a great year for her.
Other winners include Brooke Rothwell (Men’s B), Anna Plato (Women’s B), Ryan Johnson (Men’s C), and Troy Young (Men’s D/E).
