Welcome Participants to the 2021 ESC Squash Summer League!
Included in the ESC Squash Summer League is:
– 5 Weeks of organized Squash
– 1 orientation week
The format for the League is 4 or 5 players on each Team. 3 Players are expected to play each week. Please select a captain, they can create a schedule for the players for the length of the Summer League. Quite often teams are looking for a sub at the last minute, so if all 4 players on your team are available to play please contact John at 780-909-1066 so he can hopefully connect the substitute player with the team needing help.
Due to everybody’s schedules it’s important for all 3 players to come for the full duration of the teams scheduled session. Typically the problem is that one player is running late while the other team meanwhile has to wait for that player to arrive. SO PLEASE HAVE ALL 3 PLAYERS ARRIVE AT THE SCHEDULED TIME. Also, if it appears that a player isn’t arriving we typically try and find substitutes to make sure everyone gets a match.
THERE IS NO RESCHEDULING OF MATCHES. Matches must be played on Summer League Night.
Substitutes – If a team cannot supply 3 players to play, that team is responsible to find a sub to fill in. This can be a player from the other division of Summer League or it could be any other Squash Player that plays at a similar level of play.
